JOB TITLE: Applications & Sales Manager Scanning Acoustic Microscopes North American
Directs the strategic activities of the US SAM market development.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and manage the US Sales operating budgets and forecast, within corporate guidelines, ensuring positive EBIT.
Collect and present external customers’ and field engineer’s viewpoints to management and develop programs and strategies to measure and meet customer expectations.
Provide in-lab process applications and development support and sample testing
Execute and report weekly on established Account and Lead activities.
Execute a Strategic Development Program in conjunction with our affiliate companies to extend our product line offering into the US Market.
Monitor and ensure opportunities are coordinated.
Develop complete understand the equipment, modifications and current offerings and produce and present sales materials to effect positive development of the SAM Market.
Attend trade shows and present the companies technology to the US Market place
Positions which report directly to both : Managing Director of PVA TePla Analytical & to the President of PVA TePla, America Inc.
BS in Engineering or Business. Physics background is desirable
Experience in Process Development
German Language, would be helpful
Knowledge of Acoustic Scanning and or Non Destructive Inspection Equipment
Valid Drivers License & Passport
US Citizenship- required to enter national labs & defense contractor sites.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of Semiconductor Device Design and Manufacturing Processes
Familiarity with process development and analytical equipment techniques
Ability to analyze complex business operations information and data, compile visit reports, presentations, and effectively respond to questions from suppliers, customers, and other interested parties regarding same.
Ability to effectively interface and negotiate directly with customers.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Travel both domestically and internationally at least 50% of the time.
The normal work environment is typical of a business office, manufacturing operation with clean room facility, and support areas such as machine shop and stockroom.

Located in Corona, CA, PVA Tepla boasts the largest dedicated team of scientists of any Plasma Treatment company worldwide.
Job Description: Research Associate
Under the supervision of a Senior Scientist, Research Associates will perform gas plasma experiments for customer specific projects, document all procedures, follow PVA Tepla America lab protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Research Associates will be expected to perform routine surface analysis using contact angle goniometer, XPS, spectral reflectance, slide angle and other standard techniques. Training will be provided for all lab work, safety and company protocols.
Candidates will have completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from an accredited University which included coursework in chemistry, physics, engineering or related majors; experienced candidates are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with plasma physics, organic chemistry, solid-phase synthesis and free radical polymerization are a plus. The ability to follow protocols and document and communicate results is a must.
Hourly salary will be negotiated based on relevant experience and aptitude. Medical, dental and vision are available to all full-time employees.
